Fried Bananas Hosta – Breck’s Flower Bulbs

Introducing a hosta that actually loves the sun! Fried Bananas, a successful sport of ‘Guacamole’, not only survives full sun—it thrives in it. Golden yellow to chartreuse green leaves cover a 16″ tall, mounded plant from early spring to mid fall, the gold colour intensifying in the sunlight. The foliage is wavy and texturally superior to many hosta varieties. A vigorous grower, Fried Bananas makes a fast-growing addition to borders, containers, shade gardens… and can also be used as a bright and colourful ground cover in both sun and shade. Fragrant, white flowers attract butterflies in summer.
